Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Phi 1:6  Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Phi 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Welcome to the Kingdom of God. It is important to understand that SALVATION is the results of a life of faith. SALVATION is a gift from God that you open through a Life of FAITH,  however long that may be (Eph 2:8). It is not earned by being good or doing good works or even merited by our belief in God. SALVATION was given to the world in the completed work of Jesus Christ. However, to work out that PROCESS of SALVATION in your life you must trust in the love and righteousness of GOD. (Phi 2:12)  In order to open the doors of heaven that God may finish his good work in you unto SALVATION you must trust GOD, His word and His Spirit ( Phi 1:6).   This will open your eyes and ears to hear what the Spirit has to say and in the process save your soul. The following is a guideline based on biblical principle.

The following 4 steps to a relationship with Jesus may be simple but they are not easy. They require a true desire and dedication from the heart. Remember that God cannot be fooled. You must want to be citizen of the kingdom of God. You must want to Love your God with all you heart, mind and soul.

Now, with that in mind the first step is REPENT. Repent literally means to turn around and go the other way. We must change our attitude from ignoring and doing our own thing to seeking God. We must acknowledge in our soul that God ‘s word and ways are right and we were wrong. We must regret the things we did as a result of the old attitude and embrace God's WAY. This is trusting in the righteousness and love of God. In religious terms, we must repent of our Sins.

Next, we must accept as Lord, Jesus Christ. We must accept that Jesus is God. We must accept that he died for our sins and (as God) rose again. When we have done this with our hearts we know that we must follow Jesus. We must desire to have the mindset of Christ. His ways must become (as much as possible) our ways. In religious terms, we must believe (live like) in Jesus.

Next, we must receive the Gift of the HOLY SPIRIT. Jesus promised the HOLY SPIRIT to all those who believe. The HOLY SPIRIT will "teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance" of the kingdom of God. Prayer is talking with God. The following prayer is a guide that takes you through these first three steps. There is nothing magic about these words. You may use your own words but these words are a good guide. Please pray:

My Lord and Savior, I regret having ignored you and your way. I regret the things I have done because I did not know you or your way. I now acknowledge Jesus as your only begotten Son and thank you for the sacrifice of his life for my sins and praise you for his resurrection. I receive the Holy Ghost and will follow your teachings and Worship you as My God. For thine is the Kingdom and Power and the Glory forever and ever... AMEN

The final step is action. You must seek out Christ. Like any relationship it is a two way street. Seek out Christ through his letter of life, the word of God, which of course is the bible. Seek out Christ through a bible studying and spirit filled Church. There is great joy, power, counsel and growth in studying the word and worshiping Jesus together with fellow Christians.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

REMEMBER CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION! Stand up for Jesus in your house, on the street and through baptism. BE BAPTISED IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY GHOST in your local church.. amen

Mat 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
